Join Rev. Linda Tucker and Jim Boyle who will lead us on a wildflower walk through the Marys River Natural Area. The Wildflower Walk will be on Friday, May 20, beginning at 10:30 am.
The Marys River Natural Area is just off Brooklane about a mile South of Highway 20. As you go South on Brooklane, it will be on your left approximately across from a utility site. If you see Hawkeye Avenue on the right, you’ve just missed it. Follow the gravel road to a small parking area and kiosk at the beginning of a boardwalk. The boardwalk makes it easy for those of you with walkers or wheelchairs The boardwalk winds through open fields of camas toward the Marys River. For those interested in a longer walk we can follow a trail along the river to a hidden treasure of wildflower variety that Linda has not found anywhere else in Benton County.
